Army Military Council

The Army Military Council analyzes and makes decisions about matters related to territorial defense that are submitted for its consideration. 

The council is made up of the head of the army, who chairs it; the presidents of the Provincial Defense Councils of the army territory; and other members designated by the Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces. 

The head of the army, in his capacity as president of the Army Military Council, is empowered to approve the document containing the decision of the presidents of the Provincial Defense Councils for territorial defense and their respective training plans and to issue orders on organizing and carrying out the armed struggle.
